After a reception in their honour at HMS President RNR on Friday night, the crews are bedding down ready for the start of the race on Saturday June 1.
Four boats, Savoir Faire, the Coast Girls, Pure Gym and the Islanders are moored at HMS President, while Oarsome Adventure and Hallin Marine 2 are snug in their berths at St Katharine’s Dock near Tower Bridge.
The crews will be woken at 6am, ready to begin their epic journey at 8.15am.
