Leven Brown, skipper of Avalon, sent his apologies to yesterday’s race seminar – he is currently almost half way across the Atlantic chasing the record for rowing from the Canaries to Barbados in under 30 days.
In June, he and his eight-man crew will compete in GBRow 2013.
