Aoife is a Net Zero and Social Value consultant at Accenture. She is passionate about reducing the impact of the built environment as well as implementing aspects of 2024 and solutions in her work. Aoife attempted GB Row Challenge as part of team Sea Change in 2024 and had to abandon the attempt on the Cornish coastline. She hopes to conquer the challenge with Team Nautilus and successfully circumnavigate the coastline in 2026 as our Skipper.
Kit has held various roles throughout his career, including positions in the ambulance service, school safeguarding, and outdoor education. Outside of work, he volunteers with the Samaritans, marshals at Brands Hatch, enjoys pub quizzes, and will be competing in the 2025 World Stone Skimming Championships. GB Row Challenge will be a new challenge for Kit, and he is excited to push himself both physically and mentally while contributing research to support our oceans and wildlife.
Kenza works at the Environment Agency in the South West area team. Living in Cornwall, she loves the outdoors, especially the sea, and can often be found running, cycling, swimming, diving, and yoga-ing all over the place. Kenza was previously a geography teacher and loves advocating for environmental issues and showing that you can do anything you set your mind to.
Becky is an environmental consultant, specialising in peatlands. She enjoys endurance adventures, having completed a 500 mile solo, unsupported trek across Scotland for charity last year and has plans to walk the Jeju Olle trail (South Korea) in 2025.
Becky has been sailing for over a decade, has previously rowed, is an advanced open water diver and loves skydiving. She is looking forward to taking on this challenge as part of the Nautilus team!
Becky works in Sustainability at Accenture and is passionate about environmental change. She lives with her partner, golden retriever, and bearded dragon, and is always up for an adventure. She plays football, hikes and snowboards in her spare time and loves the outdoors. Having never rowed before, she’s keen to push her limits and is excited to take on a new challenge. The opportunity to contribute to climate research while undertaking the challenge makes the journey more meaningful for Becky. She can’t wait to see the coastline of Great Britain from a different perspective!
Matt served in the British Army before pursuing a career in the construction sector and then transferring to education and training. He has held roles in various sectors including a mainstream secondary school working with SEN children, teaching, mentoring and assessing adults for nationally accredited qualifications, construction management and health and safety. Matt is an advocate for mental health, especially for veterans.
A bit of a cheeky chappy, you will normally find him flying his paraglider, skiing, keeping fit or up a big hill or mountain somewhere. Matt wants to achieve this challenge whilst helping to contribute towards environmental progress. He is very eager to “get comfortable at being uncomfortable” again.
